Canada Calls on Syria’s Assad to Resign

Saturday, August 20th, 2011, 12:17PM
On Thursday, the Canadian Prime Minister Stephan Harper has joined the other world leaders in calling on Syria’s president to resign amid a violent crackdown.
Prime Minister Harper said in a statement Bashar Assad's campaign of terror against the Syrian people must stop and that he should step down immediately on Thursday.
Thousands have been killed or detained over the last five months as Syrians protest against their government.
Harper says the regime has lost all legitimacy and the Syrian people have the right to determine their own future.
Harper has joined Obama and other European leaders in the quest of Assad’s resignation.
When did the Canadian’s drop their sack? Aren’t they worried about their beer and hockey AYY? What’s it all a boot, you hosers?
